The first edition of our paper was delivered hot off the press to your doorstep in 2008, published at the time as New Farm and Fortitude Valley Village News.
Our editor saw the unique stories that could be told in the Peninsula ‘village’ and decided that a local newspaper would be embraced by the vibrant community.
Since then, we have become an important part of the area, changing our name once more to My Village News as we expanded our reach across to Spring Hill and up to Newstead.
In 2020, we made the leap across Breakfast Creek and began our Inner North edition for the Ascot area and surrounds.
Our publication has always been a place for people to come together and celebrate the positive stories of local success and voice the big issues that locals care about.
Village Voice best describes our role in the community as a publication that amplifies and shares your voices – the local trusted voices of our village.
