Building connections beyond real estate

Michael Reilly and Karla Lynch

For Karla Lynch, the sky was the limit when she joined Ray White New Farm fourteen years ago.

Now, as the agency celebrates its 20th anniversary, she reflects on the journey with pride.

Starting out as a receptionist after moving from New Zealand, Ms Lynch said her own commitment, loyalty, and dedication to the business and community mirror the example set by her bosses, Haesley Cush and Matt Lancashire, whose leadership continues to inspire her.

“The commitment, the loyalty and the dedication that Haesley and Matt show has an impact on everyone and really shows how wonderful they are as bosses,” Ms Lynch said.

Giving back to the community has always been at the heart of Ms Lynch’s work and remains a core value for the Ray White New Farm team.

After a close friend of the office lost their son, she established the Long Lunch to raise money for the Mito Foundation.

What began as a gesture of support has grown into an annual community event, attracting more than 150 attendees each year.

Ms Lynch also runs Coffee, Cuts and Chats, an initiative that has been running for over six years, offering free haircuts and conversation to those less fortunate.

Her efforts extend beyond community events, with strong support also flowing into local schools through school fetes.

Ms Lynch attends the annual school fetes at New Farm State School and Holy Spirit Catholic School, helping to raise money through donations from commissions that go directly to the schools.

She now has a sales associate, Michael Reilly, working with her.

She described him as “down to earth, dedicated, and loyal, someone who shares the same values and commitment to clients and community that we hold at Ray White New Farm.”

Ray White New Farm continues to build meaningful connections within the community, creating a lasting impact through dedicated service, genuine relationships, and ongoing support for local schools, businesses, and families.
