Energex stuffs garbage bins with stationery

While neighbouring businesses are losing thousands in trade, Energex in Newstead continues to fill dozens of their dumpsters on Cunningham Street with stationery including highlighters, hole punches, and safety helmets.

Notebooks, folders, tape dispensers and staplers were also dumped.

The clearout comes as the utility refits its building to consolidate from six floors to five, sending 1,800 workers to work from home during the renovations.
